I purchased this scooter for my 13 year old son, who loves it. He is about 5'10' 180 pounds and its perfect for someone of that size. I am 6'3' and right at the weight limit for the 500, so I am thinking of getting myself the eZip 1000 to ride with him in the neighborhood. It will handle 240lbs, but you'll exhaust the battery faster.
This is a quality product. We haven't tested the range yet, but the speed is as promised. One downside is that when not in use, you have to keep it at full charge, and charge time is a minimum of 4 hours. You might want that extra battery pack.
